mythological creature, supernatural powers, enormous creatures, hybrid of animal and human, enchanted, monster, monstrous, fantasy figure.

In our real world mythical creatures do not exist. They are beings sprung from the creativity of the mind of mankind. Most of the time they are animals with supernatural powers and being shape. Myths are full of such beings and creatures, such as in the Egyptian culture the sculpture of the Sphinx or god beings and are also provided with animal heads. In movies with wizards from Merlin to Harry Potter you can find many of these figures.

Mysterious and at the same time uncanny lies in the air in relation to all these beings and it is exactly this aspect that makes dream interpretation about them very exciting and interesting. Especially when interpreting mythical creatures, it is advisable to consider other symbols of the dream.

General dream interpretation

In general dream research, a mythical creature in a dream represents huge mental content, which is very far away from the conscious perception of the person concerned. These huge contents try to gain visibility and consciousness through the dream level. Since they are intangibly large, they can only attract attention through an enormous fantasy figure.

If the dreamer encounters the fantasy creature in his dream as a monster, this should show him that he could get into a delicate and also dangerous situation, but he can avert the danger in time or stop unfavorable developments if he consciously deals with this situation.

If one is forced to run away in a dream due to the pursuit of the mythical beast, it may indicate that sorrow and unhappy times are ahead. However, if the monster in the dream is defeated by the dreamer, then he will be successful against hostile opponents. Thus, he is assured of prestige and this can guarantee him a prominent position.

If one sees a monster in the sea doing its mischief, the dreamer can assume that this means a not positive sign for the near future. If one finds a mythical creature, which seems frightening, but out of the water, the person concerned may be happy about fortunate circumstances and occurrences.

Psychological dream interpretation

According to the psychological interpretation, mythical creatures illustrate messages from the deepest level of the soul to the dreamer. Such can seem inscrutable or monstrous at first sight, and above all incomprehensible why they appear in mythical form in the dream. To fathom this clue, one's own relationship to the self must again be discussed. By rejecting or accepting the dream symbol, much that is important can be read further.

According to dream interpretation, a certain PROPERTY can also be associated with the dream image of a mythical creature. So, as a dreamer, pay close attention to which creature your dream is about. Is it a harmless elf or a fire-breathing three-headed snake-man-beast or a seductive siren, because accordingly also the interpretation turns out. Rather monstrous or lovely and playful like a unicorn? These can be further important clues to allow an exact interpretation.

Spiritual dream interpretation

The transcendent, spiritual view sees the dream image of the mythological creature, as a reflection of the mighty forces of nature, which can be cruel and destructive. In addition, the dream suggests that animalistic, libidinal forces are asleep in the dreamer, and when they awaken, they may descend upon one in an overpowering manner. Dealing with this now is not a mistake.
