The chameleon is known for two striking characteristics. One is the unique ability to change color to adapt beautifully visually to their surroundings, and in addition they can move their large eyes independently and fix the opposite with a fixed gaze. They belong to the barbarians that consume mainly insects and smaller birds.
Now what can it mean if we encounter a chameleon in a dream? Does this appear as a request to adapt ideally to the corresponding life circumstances ?
Generally interpreted, a chameleon can indicate to the dreamer a promotion, or up front, fraud and not straightforward machinations, at the expense of others. The dream signals the dreamer to consciously refrain from self-centered actions that cause harm to the environment.
The "chameleon" can also symbolize that the dreamer is dealing with capricious people who will only cause trouble and annoyance. It might be advisable, if such a person exists in everyday life, to get out of the way or avoid a meeting.
If in a dream the life partner leads a chameleon on a leash, it is indicated that this person does not deserve the dreamer's trust and at the next best opportunity he will run away.

On the contrary, a chameleon in a dream can also be a symbol of flightiness and lack of decisiveness.
If the chameleon is fed and cared for in the dream, the dreamer should be more self-critical of himself in the waking world and show more strength of character. However, if the dreamer rejects the chameleon in the dream, this shows his desire to develop himself further, as well as to behave more harmoniously towards his fellow human beings.
Spiritual dream interpretation, through the appearance of the symbol "chameleon" in the dream, asks the dreamer to become aware of his archaic drives and learn to deal with them. Only in this way it seems to be possible to build a solid base on which spiritual advancement is promoted.
